Linseed oil is an excellent source of Omega 3, an Essential Fatty Acid that is essential for healthy skin. Although Omega 3 is essential our body does not make it and many of us do not get enough from our diet so applying it topically can be crucial for healthy skin and for delaying the signs of ageing. There are few skin conditions that will not improve when provided with Omega 3.
Omega 3 helps to strengthen the cell membrane which then makes it easier for the skin to retain moisture and ensures an easy flow of nutrients in to the cells and waste products out across the cells membrane.
